New pedagogies for employability

On Tuesday, in the fifth session of the SUCSESS Training 1, we started talking about pedagogics in earnest! The discussions were based on the pre-assignment, an article written by Principal Lecturer Jarmo Ritalahti about inquiry learning. Today we also tested Flinga as a sharing platform.

The participants were divided into six groups who shared their ideas about how new pedagogies are implemented in South African universities. New pedagogical approaches are needed to enhance student learning and employability.

Many ideas and experiences were shared in Flinga which is an engaging and visual platform offering possibilities for collaborative activity.

The discussions will continue on Thursday when we turn to Design Sprint as a method and discuss ways to integrate technology to learning.
